Dear Trinity Lutheran Church Family,
Grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I am excited to share that this week I had the privilege of representing Trinity at the LCMC’s quarterly pastor’s meeting hosted at Calvary Lutheran Church in Lee, Illinois. It was a wonderful experience to connect with fellow pastors from LCMC churches in our area and engage in discussions about how we can all enhance our ministries to better serve our congregations. I am grateful for the opportunity to have connected with them and am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead.
As Mother’s Day approaches, I am reminded of the verse in Isaiah 40:11, which says, “He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.” This passage is a great comfort for all mothers and caregivers, reminding us that God recognizes the vital role and cares for us with tenderness and love.
This Sunday, as we celebrate Mother’s Day, we invite all mothers, grandmothers, and women who have played a motherly role in our lives to join us in worship. We will have a special gift for all women in attendance to recognize their immeasurable contributions to our families and community.
May God continue to bless the mothers in our congregation, and may He guide us all as we strive to live out our faith in our families and communities.
Blessings,
Pastor Wyatt
