Dear members of the Trinity family,
I am so excited to share with you some of the amazing things that have been happening at our church lately! First of all, I want to express my gratitude to all those who contributed food for the Network of Nations’ International Cafe event at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Your generosity made it possible for several college students to have a night of fellowship and a delicious meal. We even had enough food to send them home with goodie bags of leftovers! Thank you for all of your help!
We were also honored to serve as the coordinators for this year’s National Day of Prayer on Thursday May 4th. Pastor Lance worked to organize several speakers to pray over our nation, our schools, and our community. It is good and right to give praise to our Father in Heaven for the many blessings He has afforded us through our great nation and to continually pray for our nation’s leadership. We know this from reading Apostle Paul’s letter 1 Timothy 2:1-2 “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” Thank you to those who participated at the event as well as those who participated in prayer from their homes.
Finally, I want to congratulate all those who served at and attended our monthly breakfast last weekend. Thanks to your hard work and dedication, we were able to raise over $1,000 for the church and serve over 100 people a fine country-house style breakfast! It was a wonderful opportunity for us to connect with one another and our community.
Let us continue to be a church that serves others and prays regularly. As we do so, we can be confident that God will bless our efforts and reward us in ways that we cannot even imagine.
May God bless you all.
In Christ,
Pastor Wyatt
